Brokerage Organization Design & Compensation

Beth Carroll of Prosperio Group will be speaking at the 2024 TIA Pre-Conference Session from 7:30 am MST to 3:00 pm MST on Wednesday, April 10th, at the JW Marriott in Phoenix, Arizona.

A common complaint among brokerage owners is that their employees do not have enough of a sense of urgency.  There are many possible reasons for this problem, but two of the most common are poorly defined roles, as well as poorly designed and managed compensation plans.  This year’s pre-conference seminar will look at the different organization models in use by brokers to help improve role clarity, while accounting for the various pros and cons of each model in different situations.  It will also review the different compensation approaches (there are far more options than just a straight commission plan!); this will give you ideas for different methods you can use to increase the sense of urgency among your staff, while also driving short-term AND long-term growth.
