11 Mar Pride raises pay, adds paid holidays and DirecTV
Pride Transport (ranked 225th on Commercial Carrier Journal’s Top 250 list) has announced several changes to their driver pay scale, including mileage pay increases that will benefit all incoming drivers and all existing refrigerated drivers.
The Salt Lake City-based company’s new Pay For Performance (PFP) plan will give each driver at least a 2 cent per mile increase. This will bring Pride’s pay range to $.33 – $.42/mile depending on experience level. In addition to the rate-per-mile increase for all refrigerated drivers, Pride also announced six paid holidays per year for all drivers. Another benefit Pride recently announced is the free installation of DirecTV units in their tractors.
Pride announced the PFP plan to reward those drivers who display the highest levels of safety, customer service, fuel economy and productivity. Under this new pay plan, drivers at Pride Transport can earn additional pay increases in as little as every 10 months.
